Khammam: A medicine to prevent Covid-19 was distributed free of cost to people in Kothagudem on Sunday.

The medicine was prepared by a hereditary doctor of Ayurveda, Ramanchi Srinivas, based on the formulation of Ayurveda practitioner B Anandaiah of Krishnapatnam village in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.

A noted environmentalist, Rayi Venkataiah, who attended the medicine distribution programme, said it was advisable to use ayurvedic preventive medicine instead of spending lakhs of rupees after getting infected with Covid-19.

A TRS leader Kapu Krishna and others said that many people became resistant to coronavirus and became healthy after taking the drug. The medicine was distributed free of charge to around 500 people.
