Hyderabad: A native of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh Lance Naik Saiteja is among those killed in the chopper crash that claimed the lives of Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat and 11 others near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu.

Lance Naik Saiteja hails from Yeguva Regada village of Kurabala mandal in Chittoor and was one among the personal staff of Gen Rawat, reports reaching here said.

Lance Naik Saiteja joined the Bengaluru Regiment of the Indian Army in 2013 and was trained as a para commando. He had recently joined the personal staff of the CDS. He is survived by his wife Shyamala, daughter Darshini and son Mokshgna, reports said.
