Amaravati: The PRC Sadhana Samiti, representing Andhra Pradesh state government employees, teachers and pensioners, has decided not to go for talks till the PRC Government Orders were withdrawn. The Samiti leaders who met on Tuesday in the wake of the invitation from the Principal Secretary-General Administration Department for talks on the issue, wrote a letter of resentment to the committee of ministers seeking scrapping of the new GOs on PRC.
Later, in response to the invitation from the ministers, Samiti steering committee members Oskar Rao,YV Rao, Hridayaraju, Sivareddy and others went to the Secretariat and handed over the letter to the ministers in which they had demanded scrapping of the PRC GOs, payment of old salaries, and making public the Ashutosh Misra report on PRC.
Talking to media persons after handing over the letter, Oskar Rao said they had made it clear to the committee of ministers that they would attend talks only after the three demands were met. The talks process was not held on the day and the next course of action would continue, he said, reiterating that there was no question of holding talks till the demands were conceded.
