Nellore: Minister for Water Resources Anil Kumar Yadav has disclosed that another new bridge would be constructed on the Penna river here.

Talking to reporters after reviewing the Penna barrage works on Sunday, he said that the proposal for the four-lane new bridge which would cost Rs.150 crore was sent to the Centre.

On the ongoing barrage works, he noted that the floods to the river had delayed it by about four months. The barrage construction would be completed at the earliest and would be inaugurated by Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, he stated.
