Andhra Pradesh signs Rs 3000 cr MoUs at Dubai Expo

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has signed three MoUs for investment of over Rs.3,000 crore at the ongoing Dubai Expo. According to government sources here on Tuesday, a delegation led by IT and Industries Minister M. Gautam Reddy, an MoU worth Rs.3,000 crore was reached with Causes e Mobility Pvt. Ltd. of London for upgrading diesel vehicles for public transport, a facility to come up at the Jagananna Mega Industrial Hub in YSR Kadapa district.
Similarly, another agreement was reached with Regency Group which is ruling the retail market with its Grant Hyper Market brand. The Regency Group has agreed to set up 25 retail outlets with Rs.150 crore with distribution centres at Anantapur, Kadapa, Madanapalle, Chittoor, Nellore and Hindupur, and setting up spices and pulses package units.
Also, another MoU was signed with Trio General Trading company which is part of Fluent Grid of Essar Investment Group in Visakhapatnam. Under this, a new high-end IT company AI and ML Technologies will provide 300 jobs in the Vizag unit.
