Annual SSC examinations begin on peaceful note in erstwhile Adilabad

Officials said that 35,063 students were appearing for the examinations, while 184 centres were set up in the four district districts such as Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad

Adilabad: The annual SSC examinations began on peaceful note across erstwhile Adilabad district on Friday.

Officials said that 35,063 students were appearing for the examinations, while 184 centres were set up in the four district districts such as Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad. A total of 10,106 students in Adilabad, 9,410 students in Mancherial, 9,126 students in Nirmal district and 6,421 students in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district are taking the examinations.

As many 49 venues were established in Mancherial, while Adilabad accounted for 52 venues. Nirmal district and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts have 47 centres and 36 centres respectively.

Collectors of these districts visited the centres and instructed the officials to take steps to smooth conduct of the examinations.
