Hyderabad: The 18-year-old Anugonda Sreemanya Reddy of Hyderabad has qualified for the main draw of the ITF WTT W15K tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Sreemanya got a first-round bye before defeating Xiaoyue Xuan (China) 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 in the second round, in a closely contested match.

The Hyderabad girl then overcame Ximena Senties (Mexico) 6-3, 6-4 in the final qualifying round to secure her place in the main draw.
