Hyderabad: Anuradha scored six goals to guide her side of Dr YSR Sports School, Kadapa to a thumping 9-0 victory over VV Nagar Football Club in the 1st Women’s Football League and Knockout Tournament at the Sarvada Sports Arena, Hakimpet, Secunderabad on Saturday.
In another match, CFA, Nizamabad defeated United Football Academy 7-1. Earlier, G P Paulguna, secretary of the Telangana Football Association and former international footballer, inaugurated the tournament.
Results: Dr YSR Sports school bt VV Nagar FC 9-0; KKR Sports bt VV Nagar FC 7-0; CFA Nizamabad beat United Football Academy 7-1; Blessing FC bt Fortress FC 3-1; United Football Academy drew with Fortress FC.
