Hyderabad: Apollo Hospitals hosted a two-day Personalised Arthroplasty Summit 2026 featuring more than 350 orthopaedic surgeons and joint replacement specialists who participated in discussions on advances in robotic-assisted surgery and personalised approaches to knee and hip replacement.
The conference focused on emerging technologies, precision-based surgical planning, implant selection and advanced techniques aimed at improving outcomes for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, Dr. KJ Reddy, Chief Arthroplasty Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, said.
The summit provided a platform for orthopaedic specialists to exchange clinical experiences and explore how technological innovations could support surgical planning and patient-specific treatment strategies.
International experts, including Dr. Allan Gross from Canada and Dr. Wayne G. Paprosky from the United States, were featured in the conference programme, Dr Jairam Chandra Pingle, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon said.
