Hyderabad: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), on Thursday, entered into an MoU with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to provide digital skill training which will benefit 800 youngsters across the country.
This is the second skill development initiative announced by AM/NS India in the last one month, following an MoU with Odisha government. Under this partnership, AM/NS India will financially sponsor digital skill training as a part of the company’s CSR program.
“Digital skilling is a crucial component of an adequate training ecosystem for the youth and this initiative is in line with Digital India initiative,” said Dilip Oommen, CEO, AM/NS India. Ved Mani Tiwari, COO, NDSC, said that with this partnership, NSDC will conduct digital learning sessions to train young students from various backgrounds.
