Hyderabad: Actor Anasuya has once again come up with a fierce and intense look in her upcoming movie titled ‘Darja’. Her fans have had enough of her seriousness when she played the role of Dakshayani in Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa:The Rise’. Although the role that she played in the film received mixed response from her fans, some users wrote on social media that her role is laced with an over dose of serious expressions.
Her fans wanted Anasuya to make a comeback with another attractive role in next films. However, she has another serious role in the ‘Darja’.
The film also features actor Sunil in the lead. The first look of the film was formally launched by producer KL Narayana here in the city recently.
“The film is being shot in various scenic locations of Hyderabad and coastal areas of Bheemavaram and Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh,” said the makers. Former AP health minister Kamineni Srinivas, producer Ashwini Dutt, actor Sunil, Anasuya, Prudhvi, Shakalaka Shankar and other unit members were present.
Presented by Kamineni Srinivas in PSS Entertainment’s banner, the film is touted to be an action entertainer. Salim Malik is directing this film while Shivashankar Paidipati is producing it.
The film also has senior actor Aamani, Aksa Khan, Shammiu, Arun Varma, Sirisha, Shakalaka Shankar, Mirchi Hemanth, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Naga Mahesh, Shaking Seshu, Jabardasth Nagi Reddy, Sameer, Ram Sarkar in key roles.
