Hyderabad: Arjan Bajwa is best known for his unconventional roles in Fashion, Rustom and Bobby Jassos and much recently in Kabir Singh along with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. Arjan played the role of Shahid’s elder brother and it was for the first time the two handsome men came together on the screen.
Recently, Arjan starred in Amazon Prime Video’s series Bestseller, playing the role of a novelist Tahir Wazir opposite Shruti Hassan. Arjan received rave reviews for his performance and got into the list of most bankable actors in Bollywood. “This series is the most memorable one for sure. Mithun Chakraborty sir called me to his caravan and told me that this would be one of the roles which would reach more audience and become a benchmark for me, which became true,” Arjan, who can also speak some Telugu, told Hyderabad Today.
Arjan’s performance was well appreciated by everyone and the actor has entered the 200-crore club. He made his smashing debut in OTT world with Zee 5’s State of Seige 26/11 as he played the role of Coronel Kunal Sahota, the Black cat Commando. “I’m always particular while choosing the scripts, and I don’t know if it’s really my luck, but people call me the ‘golden leg’. It is the biggest compliment I’ve gotten in my career. Well, talking about the Telugu film industry, I consider it my second home and I would love to try my luck again here,” he shared.
Bajwa is known for his charismatic looks and immense talent. He is popular amongst ladies for his super-toned physique and stylish looks. Being a fitness freak, Arjan has been doing different forms of activities like karate and Cross-Fit to maintain his muscular body. “Fitness was always a daily routine from my childhood, thanks to my dad who was very particular about our health. He was an athlete and is also a fitness freak, which inspired my whole family to get into some kind of activity every day,” says Arjan, who also has an immense passion for flying and has taken a special course from a reputed flying school in San Francisco.
Being a part of 11 Telugu films in the past, Arjan made his grand debut in the Tamil industry with Bigil along with a talented ensemble of cast Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff and Kathir. Produced by AGS entertainment, directed by Atlee Kumar, the film showcased Arjan in a never-seen avatar of a footballer. The film made a remarkable impact in the south industry and Arjan was lauded for his performance.
