Siddipet: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate MLA Camp Office, Police Commissionerate and Integrated Collectorate Complex near Siddipet on Sunday. He will fly in a chopper to Siddipet from Hyderabad.
The three-hour-long tour of the Chief Minister will start at 11 am on Sunday. He will arrive at the newly built MLA Camp Office at Siddipet Housing Colony. After inaugurating the camp office, he will proceed to Siddipet Police Commissionerate on the outskirts of Rampally. He will inaugurate the new commissionerate built in 29 acres. Later, Rao will proceed to the Integrated Collectorate Complex at Duddeda, close to Rajiv Rahadari. After opening the Collectorate complex built in 54 acres, Rao will address officials, elected representatives and mediapersons at the Collectorate Conference. Rao had laid foundation for the Collectorate and Commissionerate buildings in October 2017 during his first stint as Chief Minister of the State.
The programme will end at 2 pm. The Chief Minister will then proceed to Kamareddy district to inaugurate the Integrated Collectorate Complex and others there.
Finance Minister T Harish Rao, Siddipet Collector P Venkatrami Reddy, Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis and other officials were busy making arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit.
Since the Chief Minister created 23 new districts in October 2016 in addition to existing 10 districts, the State government took up the construction of collectorates, police headquarters and other offices in all the new district headquarters.
