Ashvik Kumar wins juniors title in Brilliant Trophy chess tournament

Hyderabad: A Ashvik Kumar (Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet) won the juniors title, scoring 5.5 points out of six rounds, while Atharv and Vikyaath Thallapally finished second and third with five points each out of six rounds in the Brilliant Trophy chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar High School here on Sunday.

In the Open category, Gade Vishal won the event by scoring 5.5 points out of six rounds, while Aashish Reddy Akavaram and Thota Jovenkatraman finished second and third with five points each out of six rounds.
