Asifabad DSP dies of cardiac arrest

DSP Sabbati Vishnu Murthy, aged 58, died of a cardiac arrest in Kumram Bheem Asifabad on Sunday night. A native of Hyderabad, he had served in several Telangana districts. The SP expressed condolences and assured departmental support to his family.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: DSP (Functional Vertical) Sabbati Vishnu Murthy died of cardiac arrest here on Sunday night. He was 58.

Murthy complained of chest pain at night and was immediately shifted to a hospital, where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Hailing from Hyderabad, he had joined the Police Department as a Sub-Inspector in 1971 and had worked in Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.


Meanwhile, the SP expressed grief over the demise of the DSP. He said Murthy was a sincere, disciplined and committed police officer. He assured that all necessary support would be extended to the bereaved family by the department.
