Asifabad job row: Officials say woman denied job as she is ‘ineligible’
Her Central Rehabilitation Register number (CRR) issued by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) was expired in 2021

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: With a woman lodging a complaint that she was denied a job even after being handed over an appointment letter by the Chief Minister, officials have clarified that she was not given the job because she was ineligible as per rules.
According to proceedings issued by the Collector and Chairman of DSC, Jyotsna was declared ineligible to the teacher post as her Central Rehabilitation Register number (CRR) issued by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) was expired in 2021.
As per the proceedings, Direct of School Education (DSE) issued a clarification stating that CRR number A50725 belonging to Jyotsna expired on June 20 in 2021.
As per recruitment rules issued in GO MS no.4, the school education and as per guidelines of RCI, the candidate was ineligible to hold the post of school assistant (special education) category in DSC 2024. The DSE provided the clarification when the DSC sought clarification from higher authorities.
However, how was the woman handed over an appointment letter in 2024, that too by the Chief Minister, if she was ineligible right from 2021, remains unclarified.
