Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The last date to apply for the entrance examination for admissions into Class VI at Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kaghaznagar, has been extended to December 15.
School principal Satyanarayana said the last date was extended from November 30 to December 15 for the convenience of the students. He advised the pupils to utilize the opportunity. He added that Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya was one of the best educational institutes to offer quality education to students of rural pupils.
The principal further said that the school registered 3,617 applications so far as against 2,972 applications received in the previous academic year. He predicted that the quantum of applications might reach the mark of 5,000 for the first time. He attributed the rise in applications to the quality of education provided by the institution.
The head of the administration of the institution said that 482 candidates applied for enrolling their names in Class IX on the last date, November 30, for doing so. He added the students studying Class VIII were eligible to apply for admission into Grade IX at the institution.
