Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The district registered a record drop in mercury level with Ginnedhari village in Tiryani mandal seeing minimum temperature of 3.5 degrees Celsius, affecting normal life on Tuesday.
According to the weatherman, Sirpur (U) mandal registered a minimum temperature of 3.8 degrees Celsius followed by Bela mandal in Adilabad with 3.8 degrees Celsius. Hilly areas and forest fringe villages had frosty weather conditions.
Arli (T) in Bheempur had 3.9 degrees Celsius, while Jainad mandal and Wankidi mandal saw 4.9 degrees Celsius each. Chaprala of Jainath and Sonala in Adilabad Rural mandal recorded 5.1 and 5.2 degree Celsius, respectively. Adilabad town registered 5.2 degrees followed by BazarHathnoor mandal whose minimum temperature gauged to be 5.3 degrees Celsius.
On December 29 in 2019, Arli (T) village in Bheempur saw 2.9 degrees Celsius. It witnessed the lowest minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius on December 27 in 2017. On December 18, 2014, the district recorded 4 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of the district are expected to be around 5 degrees Celsius for the next three days, according to a weather forecast.
