Temperatures will hover between 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius in several districts of the State, says IMD-Hyderabad forecast

"Starting tonight, a significant drop in temperatures is expected across North Telangana districts, including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Jagital, Bhupalpally, and Karimnagar. Nights and mornings will be noticeably cooler, while daytime temperatures will remain warm, providing a much-needed relief from the heat," T Balaji posted on X.

Sirpur (U) mandal center recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Telangana at 7.3 degrees Celsius, while Ginnedhari village in Tiryani mandal saw a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. Adilabad rural mandal registered a minimum temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius, and Bela mandal headquarters recorded a minimum of 8.9 degrees Celsius.

Boath mandal recorded the lowest temperature at 8.3°C, while Bela mandal saw a minimum of 8.7°C. Adilabad Rural, Mavala, Neradigonda, Jainad, Thalamadugu, Thamsi, Bazarhathnoor, and Gadiguda mandals experienced minimum temperatures ranging from 9°C to 11°C.

Looking ahead, the weather forecast indicates that temperatures will remain between 31 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius over the next 48 hours, along with cloudy skies and light to moderate rainfall.

As per the IMD sources, Rourkela recorded 44.9 degrees Celsius while the mercury touched 43.6 in Sundargarh on Thursday

In case the maximum temperature departure is 4.5 degree Celsius to 6.4 degree Celsius from normal temperature recorded during this time of the year.

While Hyderabad didn't witness the same level of intensity, it grappled with its own intense heat on Wednesday.

Miyapur emerged as the hottest spot, recording a high of 42.7 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Borabanda at 42.5 degrees Celsius.
