Hyderabad: The Visakhapatnam District Athletics Association will organise the Asmita Athletic League on November 28 for girls in the under-14 and under-16 age groups at the SAP Integrated Sports Complex in Visakhapatnam.

The prime objective of the League is to foster female participation, promote athletics and strengthen the grassroots sports ecosystem within the district, according to M Narayana Rao, general secretary of the Visakhapatnam District Athletics Association.
