Assembly adjourned till Thursday, BAC meeting likely today

Telangana Assembly was adjourned by Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar until Thursday, with the Business Advisory Committee set to finalise the agenda for upcoming sessions, expected to continue until early January. Zero Hour saw members raise constituency-related issues

Hyderabad: Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Monday adjourned the Assembly to meet at 10 am on Thursday.

Accordingly, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) is expected to commence in a few minutes. Members from the ruling and opposition parties would discuss the issues to be taken up in the House over the next few days, besides finalising the agenda.

Though there is no official confirmation, there is a buzz that the House would be conducted till January 3 or 4.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is holding a meeting with Ministers and Government Whips in the Assembly premises.

Earlier in the day, members from different parties raised issues pertaining to their respective constituencies during the Zero Hour.
