Nalgonda: Superintendent of police, Sharath Chandra Pawar on Sunday ordered an inquiry into the alleged attack on a farmer by an ASI in Munugode village.
He also stressed the need for strict adherence to protocols by the law enforcement officers in the department.

He directed the Nalgonda DSP Shivram Reddy to conduct the inquiry ascertaining the facts in the reports that appeared in the media.
The DSP issued a charge memo to ASI Koti Singh who was accused of assaulting a farmer named Muthyalu in connection with a long-standing land dispute.
