Khammam: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the BJP leaders, instead of condemning the derogatory remarks made by their party leader Ramesh Bidhuri against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, were resorting to attacks on Congress party offices.

Speaking to the media at Venkatapuram village in Yerrupalem mandal of the district on Tuesday, he said attacks on BJP office as well as Gandhi Bhavan by respective party workers would not be tolerated.

The Deputy Chief Minister said he and TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud had condemned the attack on the BJP office by the Youth Congress leaders. He maintained that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy did not know about the attack on the BJP office by the Youth Congress leaders. BJP central leadership should have suspended Ramesh Bidhuri from the party for his remarks, but it remained unresponsive, Vikramarka added.
