Hyderabad: An auto-rickshaw driver died in a road accident at Narsingi on Tuesday afternoon. According to the police, Shaik Shoukath Ali (30), a resident of Asifnagar, was driving a goods auto-rickshaw loaded with vegetables and going towards Langer Houz from Shamshabad when a truck hit the auto.

“The truck driver was reversing his vehicle at the ORR junction at the time of the accident. Shoukath Ali got crushed in his vehicle and died,” the Narsingi police said.

Man detained in Narsingi murder case

The Narsingi police solved the mystery behind the murder of an unknown woman whose body was found at an open plot in Kokapet on Sunday.

A person, who was known to the victim, was taken into custody by the police on Tuesday.

The assailant was identified as Parameshwar, a resident of Kandukur village, while the victim was identified as Balamani, who worked as a saleswoman at a store in a shopping mall in the city.

Police said an extra-marital affair resulted in the murder of the woman.
