Auto-rickshaw overturns as a cat crosses the path, 10 farm labourers injured

Ten female farm labourers were injured after their auto-rickshaw overturned near Erraguntapadu in Khammam district on Tuesday. The driver reportedly applied sudden brakes when a cat crossed the road. One injured woman was shifted to hospital in critical condition.

Khammam: A cat crossing the road caused an accident, injuring 10 female farm labourers near Erraguntapadu in Vemsoor mandal in the district on Tuesday.

An auto-rickshaw carrying the labourers overturned as the driver applied the brakes suddenly when a cat crossed the path. The incident occurred while the labourers were travelling from Vemsoor to Kallurugudem for work.

The injured labourers, with one woman in critical condition, were shifted to Sathupalli Government Hospital for treatment. The workers belong to Ambedkar Nagar of Vemoor.
