Autorickshaw driver attempts suicide in front of Peddapalli police station

Peddapalli: An autorickshaw driver Rahman made a suicide attempt in front of the Peddapalli police station on Sunday, after cops shifted his autorickshaw to the police station. Rahman made a suicide bid by dousing himself with petrol. Alerted cops foiled his attempt and took him inside the police station.
According to Rahman, police took his autorickshaw to the police station on Saturday night without explaining the reason. Moreover, cops captured his video accusing him of theft, he alleged.
It is learnt that police seized the autorickshaw in connection with a theft case.
