The company on Wednesday unveiled its Hawa brand of fans for the Hyderabad market.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Avance Future Private Limited, which is into IoT-based smart solutions, has plans to set up a fan making unit near Hyderabad. The fans will be based on BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) technology, which is power efficient compared to conventional ceiling fans.

The company already has manufacturing units at Delhi and Mumbai and the Hyderabad unit will be its third one, which will take shape in three to six months, said Anil Bonda, Director, Strategy and Sales.
The new unit is being planned to cater to the growing demand in the southern states, he said. It will also launch wifi and voice enabled fans in the coming months. Once the new unit is ready, the company will have a capacity to make about one lakh units a year. The Hyderabad unit will create employment to about 150 people, he said.
“Our effort is to bring in smart solutions and creating energy efficient, environment-friendly and sustainable products. Hawa brand of fans offer about 65 per cent energy savings compared to conventional ceiling fans,” he said adding that the fans have IoT features and can be operated via an app, voice and even a remote. Leds are used for speed indication and have timers like ACs do.
Divya Boghra, Director, Operations and Marketing, said various models are being created with stress on new colours, styles and designs. The company also has a brand Sonatro, which offers led lighting solutions to urban and rural segments and smart cities as well. The company also offers sensors and home automation solutions.
