Awareness programme held in ladies coaches of MMTS about the Emergency Talk Back Unit

The awareness programme by M. Venkata Reddy, SIPF/SC, along with staff, among other aspects highlighted the emergency assistance which the passengers can avail by immediately calling the 139 Railway Help Line toll-free number for RPF assistance on trains.

Hyderabad: An awareness programme was held in the ladies coaches of the MMTS aimed at informing the passengers about the Emergency Talk Back Unit and the availability of RPF assistance on trains.

The awareness programme by M. Venkata Reddy, SIPF/SC, along with staff, among other aspects highlighted the emergency assistance which the passengers can avail by immediately calling the 139 Railway Help Line toll-free number for RPF assistance on trains.


It was also pointed out that male passengers were prohibited from entering coaches reserved for ladies and passengers were advised to keep their baggage secured under their seats. Valuables, laptops, and mobile phones should be kept securely away from windows and doors and passengers were cautioned not to accept eatables, beverages, or cold drinks from strangers or co-passengers.

The objective of the awareness program was to educate passengers on safety measures and emergency procedures, ensuring a secure and comfortable journey and targeted passengers traveling in ladies’ coaches of MMTS, focusing on their safety and awareness.
