Hyderabad commuters have renewed demands for MMTS expansion, better Metro and TSRTC integration, and a direct rail link to RGIA after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to reduce private vehicle use. Rail users say improved suburban connectivity is essential to easing congestion and lowering emissions.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory ahead of the ‘At Home’ reception hosted by the Governor of Telangana at Raj Bhavan on Friday evening. The police have urged citizens to avoid the area and take alternative routes during the event.

In this regard, the MMTS Train Station Sadhana Samithi and the Suburban Train Travellers Association have urged the railway officials to construct a new station at Anandbagh and a station near Loyola College in Alwal for the convenience of citizens, particularly students.
