Ayodhya Ram Mandir to feature hand-carved doors by Hyderabad artisans

The doors, created by a dedicated team of nearly 30 artisans, are set to be inaugurated on June 5 during the second phase of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony.

Hyderabad: Hand-carved wooden doors crafted by Hyderabad-based Anuradha Timbers International for all the newly constructed temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir complex in Ayodhya are all set and ready for inauguration on Thursday, June 5 at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, during the second phase of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony.

“Nearly 30 of our artisans have crafted these sacred doors,” managing partner, Anuradha Timbers International, Chadalavada Sarath Babu, said, adding that all the carving and carpentry works were executed at the specially established workshop near the temple site in Ayodhya.

Sarath Babu stated that the Ayodhya project marks a proud milestone in the legacy of Anuradha Timbers International. “We remain committed to upholding the spiritual and cultural heritage of Bharat through our craftsmanship. With work continuing on several remaining doors for the Parkota, our teams are working around the clock to ensure timely completion with unmatched devotion and precision,” he said.

The temples to be consecrated include, Ram Darbar (First Floor) – Housing the idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, and Hanuman, six temples on the Parkota (Outer Wall), Lord Shiva (Northeast corner), Lord Ganesha (Southeast corner), Lord Hanuman (Southern side), Lord Surya (Southwest corner), Goddess Bhagwati (Northwest corner), Goddess Annapurna (Northern side), seven Temples in the Sapt Mandapam Area: Sage Vashistha, Sage Valmiki, Sage Agastya, Sage Vishwamitra, Ahalya, Shabari and Nishadraj.
