Jagtial: Upset over backlogs, a 21 year old B.Tech student died by suicide in Ghambirpur of Kathalapur mandal on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, Baddipelli Ramprasad, a student of B.Tech third year in Jyothismathi Engineering College, Karimnagar, had backlogs in first and second years. Fearing that he may not be able clear the subjects in third year too, Ramprasad decided to end life. He hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his residence when other family members were out. He was found hanging when they returned in the afternoon.
After coming to know about the incident, ASI Aleemuddin visited the spot and began investigation after registering a case. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
