Hyderabad: In a surprising turn of events, Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, is no longer part of the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit ‘Baby’. Though his role in the film was never officially confirmed, many in the industry knew that Babil was cast as the lead. The film is being directed by Sai Rajesh, who also made the original version.
On Instagram, Babil shared that he is stepping away from the project. Soon after, director Sai Rajesh also confirmed the update and said he is now searching for a new actor to play the lead role.
The reason behind Babil’s exit might be linked to a recent viral video. In the video, Babil was seen crying and talking about the tough side of the film industry. He even mentioned the names of a few Bollywood stars. His team later explained the situation and deleted his Instagram account. It seems that Babil wants to take a break from work, which could be why he decided to leave the film.
The remake of Baby has created a lot of buzz since it was announced. The Telugu version was a big success, and fans were excited to see how the story would be adapted for a Hindi audience.
Now, all eyes are on Sai Rajesh and producer SKN as they look for a new face to take the project forward. Will they choose a fresh talent or go with an established name?
