Bachupally police arrest security guard for cultivating ganja plant at home
Bachupally police arrested Monchajyoti Bonia, a security guard, for cultivating a six-foot ganja plant in front of his house for personal use. The raid led to seizure of the plant, and a case under the NDPS Act has been registered

Hyderabad: The Bachupally police arrested a security guard for allegedly cultivating a ganja plant in front of his house for personal consumption.
The accused, Monchajyoti Bonia (43), a resident of Rajiv Gandhinagar, Bachupally, works as a security guard. “Bonia is addicted to ganja and has been unlawfully cultivating ganja plants in front of his house for six months. Following a tip-off, a raid was conducted, and a six-foot-high ganja plant was uprooted and seized,” said Bachupally police.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered.
