  • Hyderabad: Attapur police arrest five, seize MDMA and other narcotic substances

    Attapur Police arrested five persons and booked two others in connection with the alleged possession and sale of narcotic substances. MDMA, Mephentermine Sulphate injections, Alprazolam tablets and syringes were seized, while efforts continue to apprehend the absconding accused.

  • Domalguda police arrest two with 18 kg ganja in Hyderabad

    The Domalguda police arrested two youths from Aurangabad and seized 18 kilograms of ganja from them in Hyderabad. The accused had procured the contraband from Vijayawada and were planning to sell it in Aurangabad for higher profits
  • Khammam court sentences two to 20 years in prison, each get Rs 2 lakh fine in ganja case

    In Khammam, two men were sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and fined Rs 2 lakh each for their involvement in smuggling 200 kg of ganja and causing a fatal accident. The incident, which took place in April 2021 near V Venkatapalem, resulted in the deaths of an auto-rickshaw driver and a passenger.
  • Bachupally police arrest security guard for cultivating ganja plant at home

    Bachupally police arrested Monchajyoti Bonia, a security guard, for cultivating a six-foot ganja plant in front of his house for personal use. The raid led to seizure of the plant, and a case under the NDPS Act has been registered
