Bachupally: Telugu university student found dead in hostel room
A third-year student of Suravaram Prathapareddy Telugu University, Parashuram, was found dead in his hostel room in Bachupally. Police suspect suicide by hanging, though the motive remains unclear.
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old degree student of Suravaram Prathapareddy Telugu University died by suicide in his hostel room in Bachupally on Thursdsay.
The reason for the suicide was not known, police said.
The victim, Parashuram, who was studying third year in the university stayed in the college hostel on the campus.
As per available information, Parashuram’s friends told the police that he was visibly upset over an unknown issue for the past few days and mostly stayed isolated.
He died by suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in the hostel room in the absence of his roommates.
He was found dead by the hostel staff, who alerted the hostel management and the police.
Upon receiving information, the Bachupally police reached the spot and took up an investigation.
