Yadadri-Bhongir: Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya escaped unhurt in an incident when the car in which he was traveling went off the road as the driver lost control of the vehicle at Kithapuram of Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Monday.
The incident took place when Dattatreya was going to Nalgonda from Hyderabad in a car to attend a programme there. Dattatreya, his personal assistant and driver were present in the car at the time of the incident. . Sources said the steering got locked when the car was moving, it turned left and went off the road. No one was injured in the incident.
The driver managed to stop the car averting a major accident. After the incident, Dattatreya left for Nalgonda in another car.
