Residents of Yellagiri in Choutuppal mandal, Nalgonda district, rushed out of their homes late Friday evening after tremors shook the area. The panic was triggered by a reactor blast at a private chemical factory nearby.
On the morning of November 28, Bairu Anjamma complained of giddiness and collapsed. Her relatives rushed her to a hospital and she was declared as brain dead on December 3.
Referring to the dispute between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on sharing of Krishna water, he said irrigation officials of the two states should discuss and find a solution to the issue amicably.
The incident took place when Dattatreya was going to Nalgonda from Hyderabad in a car to attend a programme there. Dattatreya, his personal assistant and driver were present in the car at the time of the incident.
