Bandi demands Telangana govt to implement PMFBY scheme

Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday demanded that the State government implement Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), a Central government-sponsored crop insurance scheme, in the State.
Interacting with people during his ‘Praja Sangrama’ yatra on the 27th day in Rajanna Sircilla district, he asked the State government to implement the PMFBY scheme in the larger interest of farmers. He said the State government should render justice to farmers by addressing their problems.
He also demanded that the State government release necessary funds for sarpanches to clear pending bills. Sanjay’s yatra will start from Lingannapet on Friday and he will address a public meeting at Musthabad. BJP MLA T Raja Singh and other senior leaders accompanied Sanjay during the yatra.
