KARIMNAGAR: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar came down heavily on the State government, stating that injustice was done to BC communities by including Muslims in the BC category besides reducing the community percentage in the caste census.

Alleging that there was a big conspiracy in including Muslims in BC category, the Union Minister opined that in the future, Hindu leaders may not win in seats where BCs would contest. Earlier, the GHMC election was a classic example for this. Following the implementation of four per cent reservation to Muslims during the time of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Muslims captured BC seats in GHMC polls, he claimed, also asking why BC organisations were not responding on the issue.

Sanjay Kumar participated in the BJP MLC graduate constituency candidate’s rally held in Karimnagar town on Saturday evening.
