Bandi Sanjay offers immediate relief to kin of teen drowned in SRSP canal

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar provided Rs 25,000 as immediate financial assistance to the family of a teenager who drowned in the SRSP canal in Karimnagar district and urged the administration to extend support to the bereaved family.

Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday offered a financial assistance of Rs 25,000 to kin of Ahan Rudra, 16, who drowned in the SRSP canal at Buddipelli in Kothapalli mandal on Thursday.

Sanjay Kumar requested Collector Chitra Mishra to extend all support to the family of Ahan. He called the Collector over the phone and found out about the incident. He said that he offered monetary support as an immediate relief for last rites. The Union Minister advised devotees to take precautions while immersing Ganesh idols.
