Bandi Sanjay rejects CM Revanth Reddy’s Metro phase-2 remarks
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar dismissed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s allegations that G Kishan Reddy was obstructing Hyderabad Metro phase-2. He said the Centre remained committed to Telangana’s development and also defended the SIR exercise regarding illegal infiltrators.
Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar refuted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s comments that Union Minister G Kishan Reddy was obstructing Hyderabad Metro phase-2.
Terming it false, Sanjay Kumar made it clear that there was no truth in the Chief Minister’s statement and said that the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to the development of Telangana.
If Kishan Reddy wanted to obstruct the growth of the State, then how was the State getting huge funds as well as projects from the Centre, he wondered.
The Union government had sanctioned thousands of crores for the development of Hyderabad, Warangal and Khammam districts, Sanjay Kumar claimed while participating in ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ with RMP doctors in Manakondur on Tuesday.
Talking about SIR, the Union Minister questioned what was wrong if the votes of illegal infiltrators were removed. He also questioned why the Congress party was comparing Indian Muslims with foreign Muslims. In an attempt to gain political benefit by creating trouble among different religions, the Congress party was opposing SIR.
Nobody has the right to remove the votes of Indian citizens, he made it clear and demanded a categorical reply from the Congress party on whether the votes of illegal infiltrators should be removed.
