Hyderabad: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay will be taking up the second phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra (padayatra) in the State from November 21 to January 10.

Sharing details of Bandi Sanjay’s second phase padayatra, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh said the first phase of his padayatra was a grand success as there was good response from people in all the constituencies.
“Initially, we had planned to conduct the second phase of padayatra a bit late. But there is tremendous pressure from party workers to launch the second phase of padayatra, hence it is being conducted from November 21,” said Raja Singh while addressing media persons here on Monday. He also said a ‘million-march’ programme involving the unemployed youth will be conducted on November 12.
He charged that ruling TRS Government had indulged in misuse of power in the Huzurabad by-poll. Despite the State Government’s Dalit Bandhu pilot project in Huzurabad, Dalit people extended their support to BJP candidate Eatala Rajender, he said.
Party State general secretary Premender Reddy exuded confidence that BJP would emerge victorious in the Huzurabad by-poll. “As per our preliminary estimates, the party will win with a majority of 30,000 votes,” said Premender Reddy.
Finding fault with State government’s anti-farmer practices, he said the BJP State unit will fight for farmers’ rights and strive for their welfare.
The party will exert pressure on the State government to purchase every grain produced by farmers in the State, he said adding that Bandi had even conducted a Rythu Deeksha four days ago.
