Hyderabad: In a serious allegation against the AIMIM and its leaders, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar said minor girls from areas around the Charminar were being lured by Muslim youngsters to consume drugs. He said he would set up BJP Rakshak teams to protect the girls.
“Like the incidents shown in the Kerala Story movie, these crime incidents are increasing rapidly and soon a Hyderabad Files movie can be made. All this is being done with the support of AIMIM party and its leaders,” Sanjay Kumar alleged at a press conference here on Sunday.
“These gangs do not target schools in which Muslim students are enrolled, but focus on Hindu girls’ schools. They first target a girl and invite her to a Muslim girl’s birthday function, where she is offered chocolate laced with drugs,” he alleged.
The Union Minister alleged that police did not take action swiftly in such cases. The offenders record obscene video clips of the girl and threaten to share the videos on social media platforms if she complained to the police, he said, also listing out a few incidents.
He also said that a minor girl, a native of West Bengal living in Charminar area was abducted on October 10.
“She is currently in a juvenile home in a disturbed condition. She revealed that nine more girls were also trapped like her,” Sanjay Kumar said, alleging that there were no arrests made and that the FIRs were “closed”.
When the accused are picked up, they call AIMIM leaders, who instruct the police to release them. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy should constitute a special team to conduct a detailed probe and arrest all those involved, he demanded.
“The BJP will establish Rakshak teams in the Old City and other areas to protect our girls. If any law and order situation arises, the Chief Minister will be held responsible,” he said.
