Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday requested Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to take necessary steps for completing self-respect bhavans for backward class communities in the State.
He also urged the Chief Minister to allocate necessary funds for BC federation to enable poor people from the communities to avail loans. It was only the BJP that gave proper recognition to BC communities in the country, he said.
For the first time in history, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Cabinet posts to 27 members from BC communities, Sanjay said, adding that the government gave self-employment loans to the BCs only twice in the last seven years.
During 34th day of his ‘Praja Sangrama yatra’ in Siddipet, Sanjay demanded that the State government improve amenities in government educational institutions in the State. Meanwhile, Youtuber ‘Teenmaar’ Mallanna’s wife Mamatha is likely to join BJP.
