Bank of Baroda marks 119th Foundation Day with new initiatives

Bank of Baroda celebrated its 119th Foundation Day by unveiling several initiatives, including the upgraded bob World mobile banking platform, new lending schemes, a global capability centre and 119 Business Correspondent outlets to strengthen innovation, sustainability and financial inclusion.

Hyderabad: Bank of Baroda observed its 119th Foundation Day with the theme ‘Leading with Trust’ and, to mark the occasion, unveiled a comprehensive suite of initiatives spanning technology and digital innovation, retail and MSME banking, sustainable finance and financial inclusion.

Sachin Tendulkar, Bank of Baroda’s Global Brand Ambassador, unveiled the new bob World, the bank’s mobile banking platform, reimagined to deliver a more intelligent, intuitive, secure and hyper-personalised banking experience.


Also unveiled were AAROHAN GCIC, its Global Capability, Innovation & Transformation Centre, and ADITI 2.0, its Intelligent Virtual Front Office. Other key product launches included bob Elev8 Home Loan, the bob Green PLUG lending scheme for financing EV charging stations and battery-swapping infrastructure, and the bob Agniveer MSME financing scheme, apart from 119 new Business Correspondent (BC) outlets across the country.

Dr Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda, said, “We remain focused on strengthening customer trust, driving innovation, advancing sustainability and creating long-term value for all our stakeholders.”
