Bank of Baroda signs MoU with South Central Railway

The benefits of the agreement will pass on to six States covered under SCR-Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu

Hyderabad: Bank of Baroda on Wednesday announced the signing of a MoU with the South Central Railway (SCR) for the Baroda government salary package for their more than 85,000 employees. The benefits of the agreement will pass on to six States covered under SCR-Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

The MoU covers special benefits, including enhanced free comprehensive personal accident insurance cover, free hospicash facility, special offers on retail loans, debit and credit cards, a press release said. It also provides add on cover with personal accident insurance like reimbursement of girl child marriage(18-25),Higher education cover, transportation of imported medicine.

Personal accident insurance up to Rs 1.25 crore in case of accidental death on duty and up to Rs 100 lakh off duty and group term life insurance facility of Rs 10 lakh is also covered.

The agreement was signed in the presence of GRS Rao, Chief Personnel Officer and Jaya Shankar Chowhan, Dy Chief Personnel Officer, Ritesh Kumar, General Manager and Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, MVS Sudhakar, DGM Bank of Baroda and Abhishek Bharti, AGM Bank of Baroda.
