Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital launches advanced Digital Pathology System
Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute has launched the Roche Ventana DP 600 Digital Pathology System with ICICI Foundation support. The advanced 240-slide scanner enables high-resolution imaging up to 80X magnification, improving speed and accuracy in cancer diagnosis.

Hyderabad: Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACHRI) has launched Roche Ventana DP 600 Digital Pathology System, a state-of-the-art facility, established with support from the ICICI Foundation.
The system features a high-capacity 240-slide scanner, designed to change how cancer is diagnosed. By converting physical blood and tissue samples into high-resolution digital images, the technology allows pathologists to view slides at an 80X magnification.
Such a level of detail will enable cancer specialists and other medical professionals to examine cellular structures with exceptional precision, facilitating faster and more accurate diagnoses, BIACHRI said.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman, BIACH&RI, Dr Nori Dattatreyudu, JSR Prasad, Trust Board Members; Dr TS Rao, Medical Director and other senior Board members and cancer specialists were present during the launch.
