Hyderabad: On the eve of Bathukamma 2020 festival, a Bathukamma painting competition is being conducted for boys and girls in different categories of 5 to 10 years (junior) and 10 to 15 years (seniors). First prize is Rs.20,000, second prize is Rs.15,000 and third prize is Rs.10,000 and consolation prizes of Rs.1000 for ten participants will be offered.

Participants should send paintings depicting the exercise involved in gathering the flowers, arrangements for immersion of Bathukammas in lakes. Participants should give a self-declaration that paintings have not been sent to any other competition, along with age, address, school name, mobile number.

The paintings should be done in A4 size papers. Each participant should send only one painting and the last date for submitting the works is October 18. Paintings should be mailed to batukamma.art@gmail.com
