BC reservation issue: R Krishnaiah calls for Telangana bandh on Oct 14

BC leader and Member of Parliament R. Krishnaiah has announced a statewide bandh on 14 October, protesting the Congress government's approach to BC reservations. He met Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to request BJP’s support.

Hyderabad: In protest against the Congress government’s handling of the BC reservations issue, R. Krishnaiah, BC leader and MP, has called for a statewide bandh on October 14 and appealed for support from all political parties.

The BC leader stated that he had met Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to seek the BJP’s support for the bandh, and the Minister had assured him of a decision after discussing it with the party. He also appealed to people from all communities to extend their support for the protest.
