Students of Delhi Public School, Nacharam bid farewell to 2020 and welcomed the New Year 2021 by organising a motivational talk by Swami Bodhamayanandji, through the virtual conferencing service Zoom. Students of class IX hosted the event. The event, planned and organised by school Principal Sunitha Rao and overseen by Vice-Principal Renu Gahlawat, got off to an auspicious start by the lighting of a lamp and a prayer song accompanied by classical dance. Principal Sunitha Rao spoke next, introducing the Swamiji to the audience.

Swami Bodhamayanandji addressed the students, adopting an informal and in a relaxed manner. He spoke, inspiring them, citing hymns in Sanskrit and explaining them to the students in simple English. Swamiji impressed upon the students the importance of energy and vitality of youth and the need to use them in a beneficial way for their development and progress in life and nation-building. He motivated the students by showing a video displaying the achievements of Indian youth from various fields and expounded to the children that they were capable of achieving similar feats too. A few students of Grade IX spoke on the importance of goal-setting and their aims and aspirations.

The out-going class XII students expressed their gratitude to the management, teachers and every employee of the school who helped them face the world. Senior Vice-Principal Nanditha Sunkara also spoke.
